Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) Launches First Android P Developer Preview


After much speculations and anticipations, the search giant, Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) has finally launched its rumored version of its mobile operating system which is currently available for download.

Over the past 2 years Google has released 2 preview models in which case the first model was released in 2016 referred to as the Android Nougat and later the second preview model in 2017 referred to as the Android Oreo.

The main objective of the first preview was to allow the developers to use the build-up in advanced stages so as to be able to explore the new features and API for the applications, test their compatibility and give feedback.

In the subsequent developer features, more capabilities are expected to be released and at the end the enrollments are expected to go through the Android Beta Program.

The android P has introduced a support for the Wi-Fi round trip time that permits the owner to advantage of the indoor strategizing in the other applications hence it will have the capability of telling proper locations that shall be within a range of 2 meters.

Android P has also introduced multiple improvements to the notifications which include the support for pictures and the communication participants, recommends AI-stimulated replies, able to set denotation intent actions and much more.

Besides that, the model also permits for a UI fingerprint validation system across the device and apps, a multi-camera which permits concurrent streams from 2 or more cameras.

The new release from Google has also seen the need to incorporate OS level in support for the display cutouts. This aims to address the compatibility issues between the applications and notches by simply ignoring them

The job scheduler also is now capable of polling the network status provided by the carriers and also able to separate the unmetered networks and networks deemed as congested.

The main reason for the polling of the networks is to be able to manage the traffic network and large traffic jobs data.
