Weatherford International PLC (NYSE:WFT) reported that Angela A. Minas is appointed as a new member of its Board of Directors. Minas brings executive leadership, management consulting and financial experience of over 30 years to the company. She has served as the CFO of Constellation Energy Partners LLC and DCP Midstream Partners LP as well as lead associate for Arthur Andersen’s North American oil & gas consulting practice.
Weatherford International reported that Minas has served on the boards of different public firms. She is currently associated with the Council of Overseers at the renowned Rice University Graduate Business School. Now, on her new role, she will serve on the Health, Safety & Environment Committee as well as on the Audit Committee.
Mark A. McCollum, the Chief Executive Officer and President of Weatherford, expressed that Minas boasts extensive experience in the energy market.
